A coworker just said, “There’s been a Bush or a Clinton in the White House my entire life,” and it took me a moment to remember that H.W. Bush was VP when I was born. Suddenly I have a fresh understanding of my own support for Obama.
Can we please agree that Clinton is the candidate of Hegemony, Dynasty, Establishment, etc? People may make fun of all the politicians talking about “Change” all the time, but if we’re choosing between Clinton and Obama, Obama is the forward-looking option. Don’t be frightened of the future. Walking backwards into the future should scare you more than facing it.
