There’s a fire at my apartment complex. They seem to have it under control now. Word on the street is that it was somebody trying to have a cookout on their porch. Totally haven’t verified that bit at all, though.

Oh god how awful for someone. :-/
I was just driving around with the windows down enjoying the lovely weather we are finally having. I drove past that area twice and thought it was an odd smelling smoke–not like a normal fireplace fire. I guess this is why.

Yep. I’m fine. The building that suffered was on the opposite end of the complex. There are still at least two emergency vehicles here.
