time to look at zipcar again?

Zipcar and Flexcar are merging. I’m loving my scooter, but Winter is here and my car is quite a beater. I’m thinking of ditching my car altogether and going with this. Hourly rate of $5 with a maximum of $55 per day that I use a car, which includes gas, insurance, and maintenance. What say ye, oh Internets?

If Zipcar was available here in North Raleigh, I’d be all over that. I work mainly from home, so my car usually sits in the driveway … slowly depreciating.
