I just got this new Zoom H2 Handy Recorder for my birthday. It’s amazing. If you didn’t already look at the link just there, I’ll give you a bit. Go on.

This thing is ridiculously easy to use, sounds great, and interfaces flawlessly with Ubuntu and Audacity. Time for some open source blogging. 
This will be immediately useful for ibiblio speakers series interviews, maybe even reference audio for some video. I’m going to have to get a bigger/backup SD card for it–it came with a 512MB card.
