Monday the 6th: Revolution OS

UPDATE: We’ve changed the location. We’re now in Manning 208. I’ve updated the flier to match.

For the impatient: see the PDF flier here or reference the post in Paul’s blog which mentioned this.

This Monday the 6th of August there will be a COSI meeting at 17:30 EDT to plan for Software Freedom Day. Please do come for that meeting to help us make our SFD festivities the best in the world. Afterward (starting at 18:30 EDT) we’ll have a showing of Revolution OS, a documentary tracing the roots of GNU/Linux, and free pizza. If you plan to attend, please email me directly or leave a comment here on my blog. That will help me make sure I get pizza you’ll like and that we actually have enough for you.

Cool! TriLUG had a screening four years ago, so it’s about time there was another one in the area.

When we had the screening, I had to contact the producer and get permission for it (which involved purchasing the DVD). Is that process still the same? If not, what is the current process?
